10/28/2023 0 Comments Dallas reunion tower hotel![]() Gomez for taking the time to help a pair of strangers that are incredibly grateful. It was in 1976 that the building’s construction was started, with Welton Becket & Associates serving as the key designers and architects, and it was finally finished two years later, in 1978, alongside the Hyatt Regency Dallas. Thank you to all the staff at the Reunion Tower and a special thank you to Sr. Teamwork and people caring about others put a cherry on top of our amazing weekend. He took my friend’s information and the next day, another manager called to coordinate the retrieval of the watch. He rallied the troops and put us in touch with Marquis, the manager. Gomez to see if there was anything we could do and he was on it. Towards the end of the night, my friend (who talks with her hands ALOT) dropped her watch through the cables at the top and we watched in disbelief as it fell to the rooftops below. We saw him mingling with the other guests and could tell he enjoyed what he did. He showed us around and found us later to take our picture with the sun setting in the background. My friend and I came to watch the sunset at the top of the tower to kick our evening off. If you go to Dallas I definitely recommend checking out this place, when we went at about 5PM there weren't too many people up there, it was a weekday though. That was the only thing I dislike, but it is minor enough and unsubscribing was very easy, it is something worth knowing though if you want to get your photos. The only problem was that they started sending me junk mail the next day, no consent forms or anything. The elevators themselves aren't too fast, but they will make your ears pop! The staff at the top were very friendly to show us around too, we got some amazing shots from the top too! In the end, there was a kiosk to get photos, it acts like you need to pay, but you just need to put in an email and it sent them to me later that day. They went above and beyond to accommodate our request. ![]() My friends and I had a slightly different request, since we like filming we wanted to take one elevator up each so we could combine the views later. Before we got to the elevators they also took a few photos of us, which you can get free of charge afterwards, more on that later. Before going up we had to do a quick security check, the guard was very polite as were the staff, I felt assured nothing was going to happen if everyone was checked. I was pleasantly surprised to see tickets were only $20, which is pretty reasonable. For the longest time I thought the ticket prices were horribly expensive, so never bothered. While showing some friends around Dallas, we decided to go up the iconic Reunion Tower connected to the Hyatt. It was all worth it when we were driving home and he took my hand and told me that "I did good". I cannot thank Paige enough for helping me make this evening one that he will never forget. We had some drinks at the bar and then we went downstairs to Centennial and had dinner. We went outside on the deck and enjoyed our champagne and looked at the beautiful city of Dallas. We were escorted to the elevator and when we got to the top which is 470 feet in the air they explained everything to us. There was even someone at every stage to help guide us along so that we did not feel overwhelmed or lost. ![]() She made sure that every detail was covered. My husband has never been to the Reunion Tower before so I knew that this had to be memorable. I knew it was a long shot when I sent an email for someone to get back in touch with me but Paige LaFour called me back that same day and stayed on the phone with me very patiently waiting because I was at work and was very distracted while she helped me plan out the perfect Valentine's Day for me and my husband. So I went online and I found the Love on Top Valentine's Package that offered a trip to the top of the Geo Deck, champagne for two, chocolate-covered strawberries, a live saxophone player, a lip-reading of our fortune, a picture in a silver photo frame, a digital picture, and memories forever! This year my husband told me it was my turn to plan Valentine's Day.
